KALIASANA

Updated: Jan 9, 2023

Kaliasana is one of my favorite poses. It's so strong and empowering, just like the Goddess of Destruction herself.

KALI is the Hindu goddess of destruction, power, time, and transformation.

She is also sometimes called the Divine Mother.

This is symbolism- Kali helps souls find liberation from attachment to their bodies at the end of their life- moksha means liberation from the cycle of rebirth. She also destroys the ego and evils of all kinds.

BENEFITS OF KALIASANA

- It strengthens the pelvic floor, thighs, knees, and ankles.

- It strengthens the spine and activates the Muladhara, Swadhisthan, and Manipur chakra, unleashing creativity and emotions. Tapping into your emotions,

- It also activates the heart chakra and promotes confidence and compassion.

- It strengthens reproductive organs and improves fertility.

- People suffering from sciatica can benefits from the pose.

- It also stimulates the cardiovascular system.

WE will be starting the TTC-200 Hours course, coming soon at your arsenal.

Those students who will complete their TTC course successfully might get a chance to attend the workshop directly from the Iyengar Yoga Teachers and also might get a chance to work for PHC (Primary Health Care)sector.
